Peeps

Dallin came into my room and said, "Mom, Dad's eating a nasty, nasty, nasty bird!" I was a little shocked and started into the kitchen to find out what he was talking about. And yes, I was a bit nervous because it's Doug we're talking about...You never know! I saw Doug and just cracked up. He was standing over the stove roasting a peep! I agree with Dallin...Nasty Birds!

Funny that you should say that we never see eachother at church, because I was thinking the same thing! I saw Doug and Brooke and was going to ask him where you were and then remembered that I had talked to Angie on Saturday and she told me about how you got tricked into doing sharing time (so sorry about that. I'm sure you did a great job, but still, a little last minute don't you think!? Boys!) so I knew you had to be there. Anyway, tell Doug that roasting peeps is gross! Atleast it sounds gross!

They are adorable! Hope you guys are doing well. Our blog is private but if you want to see it send me your email address.

Lol. Thanks for sharing. That story literally made me laugh out loud as I pictured your cute little Dallin telling you about the nasty bird. Kids are so cute, and husbands are so funny... Hope you had a good Easter!

Hi--Kelly Taylor here--I wanted to weight in on the roasted peeps and they're awesome. Microwave also works great. I think they're like twinkies in that they never go bad so they're a good food storage item :)

Sheesh! Is Dallin forming complete sentences now? I have to admit that the same fear sprung into my heart when I read the "nasty, nasty bird" sentence... after all, I've met Doug.

I hope school is going well, Douglas, and you owe me a round of gold next time we're in the same state.
